Finally, a continuation!!
We snagged an unsuspecting nearby camper to take some family shots!
A shot of me and these 3 little rascals!
We had a very enjoyable camping holiday, and as usual, it must end as well!
I had prearranged that the girls attend the John Calvin school for three days just to get a feel of school in Aus! Shantel was in Preprimary (kindergarten for USA), so she remembered her classmates and was soon enjoying their company again.
Taleesha hadn't been to school in Australia yet, so for her it was a bit new. Luckily, her first day at school co-incided with an excursion to the Wildlife park and her cousin and aunty were also going! It didn't take long for her to find her way and make some friends!
Taleesha and JJ with koala.
A possum.
A snake.
A white kangaroo.
Sisters! Shantel even got to wear the proper uniform!
Catching up with family and cousins! Always fun!
Henry and Monique
Jerry and Em
Tim and Wilma
While the girls were at school, Mum and myself took the opportunity to take a day out to Perth! By train!
And of course, I visited the MIL!
We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at Sizzler with Nat and Marlies!
On the last weekend we were there, we had celebrated Dad and Mum's 45th with an afternoon tea! It was great to catchup with friends, extended family, aunties and uncles.
The family song! (it was taken from a video)
The croquets cooks!
The drink servers!
And on Sunday night, we had direct family over for a final get together, as we were leaving early Monday morning.
Terea and Alex. Little Henry has since been added to the family!
Aunty Janet
John and Caren
Ken and Estelle
And then it all came to an end. We got up very early for a quick snack and drink, and then off to the airport.
It was long but an uneventful flight and we arrived back in North America safe and sound! Thanks to our Father, who protected us during our travels, our time away and allowed us to be reunited with our family!
That's it for now!
There's more to come so watch this space!
Thanks for looking!
