So Anthea left on Tuesday and on Wednesday it was Ali and Megan's turn to head to Australia. We are really thankful for the opportunity to have Anthea visit us for four weeks, and then Ali and Megan for 5 days during that time! Very special!
It was very quiet after returning from the airport. After a house full of young people, it is going to take a bit of adjusting to return back to our own family again! One part of me would have loved to jump on the plane and head back home and join in all the family get-togethers! But life continues here. And the wedding is planned for August, DV, in Ontario, so we have something to look forward to!!
The weather here has been glorious! Cool mornings but the afternoons turn out like spring! Blue skies and lots of sunshine. Apparently, that's not normal for this time of the year either! But we won't complain!
Thursday evening, Jaclyn and Stefan had their basketball games again. Jaclyn's team won and Stefan lost by just 3 points! Well done guys!
Here's Stefan's team scoring a basket. He is number 22 and he just threw the ball to Ethan who scored.
This weekend we are having a Aussie celebration with the Aussies in the valley. So far, we have 60 people coming including kids! Sausages rolls are made, chocolate crackles are ready and Anzac biscuits baked. Looking forward to snaggers and a burger and pavlova for dessert! Bonza mate!
And that's it for now! Thanks for looking!
