Part 1 - Boeing/Museum, Seattle and Ross Lake

I finally have some time to update the blog! It will be a number of installments but here is part 1!

We went with John and Caren to Everett and dropped them off at the Boeing Factory. While they explored that, we went with the little girls to the Children's museum. It is a fantastic place, with hands on stuff. For example, there was the pizza parlour room. The patrons sit on bar stool in front of the counter and the kids are the servers and serve up (plastic) pizza and drinks etc.

Shantel loved the 'theatre' room. She dressed up and danced her heart out on stage. The audience sounds of clapping and cheering was very authentic!

One room had reflections so here is the girls with their reflection on the wall.

Log cabin making with Steve and Taleesha.

Under three years olds had their own little room so Taleesha was thrilled to climb the castle!

The water room was Taleesha's favorite. The kids donned water proof coats and explored with water.

The second favorite room was the construction room. Complete with hard hats, vests and belts they really look the part!

After picking up John and Caren again, we headed into Seattle and went up the needle (eye tower). It was a beautiful day and the views were fantastic. Here is Mt Rainier in the distance.

The following day we farewelled the boys on their 3 day fishing trip to Ross Lake. By the sounds of their stories, they had a great time and even caught some fish!

While the boys were away, the girls came out to play! That will be next installment......!
